Volunteer & Internship Opportunities
At the Gordon County Child Advocacy Center & Sexual Assault Center, we believe everyone has a role to play in building a safer, more supportive community. Volunteers and interns help us extend our reach, bring new energy to our mission, and make a difference in the lives of children, survivors, and families every day.
Ways to Get Involved
There are many ways to share your time and talents with us!

Event Support & Fundraising – Help with special events, awareness campaigns, and community fundraisers.

Community Outreach & Education – Join us at booths, presentations, and public events to help spread awareness.

Administrative Support – Assist with projects, organizing materials, or preparing outreach packets.

Internships – Gain hands-on experience in victim services, child advocacy, social work, psychology, or criminal justice.

Internship Program
We are officially launching our internship program! Our internship opportunities offer meaningful, real-world experience for college students interested in child advocacy, social services, or nonprofit work. Interns may assist with client support, community education, and administrative projects while learning from experienced professionals.

Requirements & Expectations
To ensure a safe and supportive environment, all volunteers and interns must:
