Advocacy
How We Help
Advocacy is an important part of the investigative, referral, and healing process. Our client advocates are committed to helping each family and individual step-by-step during these processes.
When a client or family arrives to the center, a client advocate is there to greet them and explain the visit. Assistance with questions regarding the legal system, mental health services, and other resources is provided by the client advocate.
Our clients and patients can expect ongoing support even after their visit to the center. If you're interested in one of the events we host to support our clients please contact us or subscribe below!

Our advocates are trained to ensure families and individuals understand their victims rights and feel supported throughout the process.

The advocacy doesn't stop when our clients leave. They can expect ongoing support!
GCCAC/SAC's Gordon County Resource Directory
Our Resource Directory was thoughtfully created in-house by our team to ensure it reflects the real, everyday needs of the children and families we serve. This directory is an extension of the work our advocates do every day — connecting victims and their families to trusted, local resources that provide support, stability, and hope. From counseling and housing assistance to basic needs and community services, this comprehensive guide is designed to help families easily access the tools they need on their path toward healing.
